is it terribly sad that whenever i go somewhere, i get mostly excited about the photo opportunities that go along with it?

i hope i get to thanksgiving dinner before it is dark out, that way i can use every single minute of golden hour taking photos in the leaves with my best friend/ cousin, olivia. 

i love this holiday. i love the food, but not as much as other people. i don't eat meat, so i'm left not being able to eat much. the thing i love most is the smell of the atmosphere, the carefree night, the gathering of the people i know will be in my life forever. this is my absolute favorite time of year.

and i just discovered my love for scarlet begonias by the grateful dead.
